2026 Rehabilitate Taxiway R & Airline Air Cargo Apron

The City of Chico is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of Taxiway R and the Airline Air Cargo Apron at the Chico Regional Airport. The project includes cracking and pavement surface treatment, as well as pavement marking on the runway and portions of the taxiway. The contract period is 25 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with the possibility of extension. The estimated construction cost is $550,000. • The project is funded in part by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under AIP Grant No. 3-06-0041-x00-2026. • The award of this project is contingent upon a grant offer from the FAA. • A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on May 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. (PDT) via Microsoft Teams. • Bidders must submit their bids on the bid document forms provided by the City, and bids must be accompanied by a cash, certified, or cashier's check, or a bid bond in favor of the City of Chico in an amount equal to at least 10% of the calculated annual bid price.
