FURNISHING OF CONSULTANT SERVICES TO MAINTAIN NEW JERSEY STATE ASSOCIATION OF CHIEFS OF POLICE (NJSACOP) ACCREDITATION

The Middlesex County Sheriff's Office is seeking a consultant to provide services to maintain its accreditation status with the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP). The consultant will work with the Sheriff's Office Accreditation Managers to ensure compliance with NJSACOP standards and provide active engagement on an ongoing basis. The scope of work includes oversight and direct mentorship during the accreditation process, maintaining the Sheriff's Office directive system, and assembling and filing compliance proofs for re-accreditation assessment. The consultant will also be required to attend monthly project meetings and provide a final evaluation and closeout report. Some key responsibilities of the consultant include: • Providing recommendations for training of new policies and procedures to Middlesex County Sheriff's personnel • Preparing necessary documentation for the Sheriff's Office for both new procedures and troubleshooting purposes • Working with the County Records Management Group to provide documentation in a compatible electronic format • Completing and submitting the NJSACOP applications for re-accreditation • Attending any requested meetings and representing the County at any meetings as required by NJSACOP
