Angleside Pressure Zone Phase 1 Improvements

The City of Shelton is seeking a qualified contractor to execute the first phase of upgrades to the Angleside Pressure Zone water‑distribution system. The project includes demolition of existing pump stations, replacement of water mains (6‑in. and 8‑in. ductile‑iron), installation of new booster pumps, check valves, control panels, electrical equipment, and associated mechanical and civil works. The contract also requires comprehensive erosion‑control measures, trench safety, back‑fill compaction, surface restoration, and testing/commissioning of the new infrastructure. • Replace and upgrade Upper Angleside Pressure Sustaining Station and Lower Angleside Booster Pump Station (pumps, valves, control systems). • Install new 6‑in. and 8‑in. ductile‑iron water mains, associated fittings, gate valves, and perform demolition/abandonment of existing AC and PE lines. • Provide electrical upgrades (manual & automatic transfer switches, panels, VFDs, PLC integration) and complete testing, commissioning, and record‑drawing delivery.
