Description
The County of Butte is seeking a firm to provide comprehensive annual inspections, maintenance, and repair services for County fire suppression and fire alarm systems. The selected respondent will be required to enter into a contract with the County for a term of three years. The scope of work includes annual inspections and maintenance of fire extinguishers, kitchen hood Ansul systems, FM-200 clean agent systems, commercial fire sprinkler systems, and fire alarm systems. The respondent must hold current and valid licenses required by the State and local jurisdictions for fire alarm and fire suppression system repair.
• The contract will include terms for completion of the project within the provided timeframe, no additional work without prior written approval, and no payment without written approval.
• The respondent must provide emergency on-call repair services for fire alarm and fire suppression systems within four hours of notification.
• The respondent must maintain an adequate stock of replacement parts and have access to manufacturer-authorized service and support.
• The County will provide facility access and point-of-contact information for emergency coordination.
• The respondent must submit a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the quoted price.
