On-Call Scaffolding Services

The Contra Costa County Public Works Department is seeking a qualified scaffolding contractor to provide design, erection, inspection, maintenance, and dismantling services for County facilities and infrastructure projects. The selected contractor will be required to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to provide safe and compliant scaffolding systems. The contract term is five years, and the contractor will be expected to work on various projects throughout the County. The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable local codes, Cal/OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety standards. • The contractor will be responsible for designing and planning scaffolding solutions per project requirements. • The contractor will be required to deliver and transport all scaffolding materials to and from the site. • The contractor will be expected to erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding structures. • The contractor will be required to provide access platforms for work at height, including stair towers, suspended scaffolds, cantilever scaffolds, or rolling towers as required. • The contractor will be expected to coordinate with other trades to avoid interference or conflict in shared workspaces. • The contractor will be required to conduct daily and weekly inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
