Mechanical Shredding of Aquatic Plants and Associated Organic Sediments

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is seeking competitive proposals for mechanical shredding of aquatic plants and associated organic sediments in Florida public lakes and navigable rivers. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option to renew for up to three years. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment and personnel to perform the services. The evaluation criteria will include references, qualifications and experience, equipment, innovative proposal, and cost. • The contractor must be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system and with SunBiz prior to the bid opening. • The contractor must provide a list of subcontractors and their minority status. • The contractor must provide a written certification from senior management that the commodities being offered have not been produced, in whole or in part, by forced labor. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety.
