Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract at DFSP San Pedro for Environmental Remediation Services

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy is seeking to award a sole source contract for environmental remediation services at Defense Fuel Support Point (DFSP) San Pedro, CA. The contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, and services necessary to complete post-active remediation tasks at bulk field-constructed underground storage tank (BFCUST) 12 and site restoration tasks for seven BFCUSTs. The services required include sampling, obtaining laboratory results, synthesizing data, and preparing a draft Interim Remedial Action Plan (IRAP) and final IRAP. The contractor will also restore areas around BFCUSTs, including grading, re-seeding, drainage/erosion control, and road repair. * The contract is for post-active environmental remediation services * The contractor will work on seven BFCUSTs located at DFSP San Pedro * The services required include specialized thermal remediation results and site restoration tasks * The contractor must have experience with Service Contract Act of 1965 covered contracts or Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) * The contractor must have a realistic phase-in period to commence performance with personnel, equipment, and materials.
