Description
The City of San Antonio’s Convention and Sports Facilities Department is seeking qualified contractors to deliver temporary electrical and plumbing services for events at major venues, including the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Lila Cockrell Theatre, the Alamodome, and the Illusions Theatre, with the possibility of future facilities. Services will be performed on an event‑by‑event basis, requiring rapid mobilization, compliance with safety codes, and coordination with venue staff. Qualified firms must be registered in the SAePS vendor system and submit their qualifications by the August 10 deadline.
• Provide temporary power distribution, lighting, and wiring for diverse event setups.
• Install, maintain, and remove temporary plumbing fixtures and services (e.g., water, waste) as required.
• Coordinate closely with venue management to meet event schedules, safety standards, and any post‑event restoration needs.
