Snow and Ice Removal Services

The City of Falls Church is soliciting competitive bids from licensed, qualified firms to provide Snow and Ice Removal Services. The awarded Contractor shall provide various types of equipment with experienced drivers/operators to perform the services on designated areas within the City. The contract term will be for one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional years. The City reserves the right to cancel or modify the contract at any time. Key responsibilities of the Contractor will include maintaining an office within 60 miles of the City, responding to emergency requests within a specified time period, and providing equipment and personnel to perform snow and ice removal services. • The Contractor must be licensed and qualified to perform snow and ice removal services in the state of Virginia. • The Contractor must maintain an office within 60 miles of the City or certify that it can respond to emergency requests within the specified time period. • The Contractor must provide equipment and personnel to perform snow and ice removal services on designated areas within the City. • The Contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety protocols. • The Contractor must provide proof of authority to transact business in Virginia.
