Fire Department Wellness Program

The City of Chula Vista seeks a qualified vendor to deliver a comprehensive wellness and laboratory program for approximately 200 fire‑department personnel, meeting NFPA 1580 standards. The contractor must provide fitness assessments, a suite of medical imaging and blood‑panel screenings, educational lectures, workshops, and individualized professional consultations over an initial twelve‑month term, with up to four optional one‑year renewals. The scope includes both on‑site fitness testing equipment and coordinated laboratory services, as well as the delivery of health‑education content. • Fitness assessments covering aerobic capacity, strength, flexibility, and body‑composition for ~200 personnel. • Laboratory services including AAA ultrasounds, CAC scans, echocardiograms, Galleri cancer‑screening, FOBT kits, and extensive blood panels (CMP, CBC, lipid, hormone, thyroid, inflammatory markers, etc.). • Minimum of four health‑focused lectures and four workshops plus one‑on‑one or small‑group professional consultations (nutrition, mobility, injury prevention, cardiac risk reduction, etc.).
