The Tobyhanna Army Depot is seeking information on commercially available geodesic radome systems that meet specific requirements. The radome should have a diameter of 110 feet, a height of approximately 77 feet, and be capable of withstanding environmental conditions in the Pocono Mountain region. It should also include necessary equipment for personnel occupation and radar system operation. The requirements include radome specifications, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, safety and lighting systems, and additional requirements such as hardware, sealant, manuals, and installation services.
• The radome should be able to withstand winds up to 150 mph.
• The HVAC system should include external duct interface connections and internal duct work.
• The safety and lighting systems should include a lightning protection system, interior lighting, aircraft warning lights, and radiation hazard warning lights.
