Janitorial Services for US Embassy Ljubljana, Slovenia

The U.S. Embassy in Ljubljana, Slovenia is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for its facilities. The contract will be for a one-year period with two one-year options to renew. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and services to perform janitorial work, including general cleaning, periodic cleaning, and temporary additional services. The contractor must also provide a supervisor who will be responsible for on-site supervision of the workforce and serve as the point of contact with U.S. Government personnel. • The contractor must have sufficient English language skills to communicate with U.S. Government staff. • The contractor must maintain discipline at the site and take all reasonable precautions to prevent unlawful, riotous, or disorderly conduct by contractor employees. • The contractor must preserve peace and protect persons and property on site. • The contractor must provide general instructions for the workforce and provide drafts to the Contracting Officer's Representative for review within thirty days after contract award. • The contractor must schedule routine cleaning requirements to ensure that these are done in the order and time frame that are most efficient and have the least impact on normal operations.
