Water and Electric Meter Replacement

The City of Oxford is seeking bids for the replacement of water and electric meters. The project includes the removal and replacement of approximately 770 water meters and AMI transmitters, installation of 200 AMI transmitters on existing water meters, and replacement of 750 electrical meters. The contractor will also be responsible for site restoration, data collection, and communication with property owners. The project must be completed within 210 consecutive calendar days. • The City of Oxford will provide water meters, electric meters, and AMI transmitters. • The contractor must have a valid license as a "Utility Contractor" and employ a "Utility Manager" certification holder. • Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN.com. • A bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid is required. • Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, will be required of the successful bidder if the contract is awarded.
