Description
The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a general contractor for the renovation of four existing Married Student Housing Brackenridge Apartment buildings. The renovation includes demo of HVAC, electrical, millwork, windows, sliding door, ceilings, plumbing fixtures, and gyp board, and will include new stud walls, HVAC, electrical, plumbing fixtures, wall tile, VCT, windows, doors, and millwork. The project schedule is to complete the project prior to 150 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. The awarded contractor shall limit their use of the premises to the work indicated, so as to allow for owner occupancy and use by the public.
• The project includes renovation of four buildings: 3351, 3353, 3363, and 3369.
• The renovation includes demo and replacement of various systems and components.
• The project schedule is approximately 150 days.
• The awarded contractor must coordinate with the university and other contractors.
• The project requires compliance with various regulations and standards, including NFPA 72.
• The contractor must provide documentation, including as-built drawings and system software.
• The contractor must warranty all materials, installation, and workmanship for one year.
