Notice of Intent to Sole Source RoboCount LAB/50 Automatic Sample Changer System

The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price commercial contract for a fully integrated RoboCount LAB/50 Automatic Sample Changer system, paired with a high-performance Mirion N-Type Coaxial HPGe Detector GR4020. The proposed solution is designed to support AFRRI's mission-critical work in radiobiology, radiation safety, and nuclear event response through enhanced gamma spectrometry capabilities. • The contract is for a specific equipment system, the RoboCount LAB/50 Automatic Sample Changer system, which is manufactured by Mirion Technologies (Canberra), Inc. • The system will be used to support AFRRI's work in radiobiology, radiation safety, and nuclear event response. • The contract is a sole-source contract, and the intended recipient is Mirion Technologies (Canberra), Inc. • The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
