Description
Texas Southern University is seeking executive search services to recruit executive-level, staff, and faculty positions. The selected firm will provide a range of services, including search process design, stakeholder communication, candidate identification, evaluation, and placement. The firm will work closely with the University's Search Committee to ensure a smooth and successful search process. The contract term is two years with an option to renew for one additional year. The University is looking for a firm with experience in recruiting executive and mid-level management positions in higher education. The firm should have a proven track record of delivering a diverse pool of competitive candidates.
Some key responsibilities of the selected firm include:
• Advising the University and Search Committee on search process design and implementation
• Identifying key issues and challenges in filling positions
• Developing a position description and executing a strategy for identifying qualified candidates
• Evaluating and screening applicants
• Providing background screening and reference checks
• Assisting with interview coordination and negotiation of employment offers
