South Aztec Water Tank Replacement

The City of Aztec is requesting formal, price-based competitive sealed bids for the South Aztec Water Tank Replacement. The project involves constructing a 0.5-million-gallon AWWA D110 Type III concrete ground storage tank, replacing 900 linear feet of 12-inch watermain, and demolishing the existing structure. The bids will be reviewed and recommendations for award will be made to the Board of City Commissioners based on the lowest responsive price(s) with applicable preferences. • The project requires a bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. • The contractor must have a valid New Mexico contractor's license. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonding. • The project has a scheduled completion date of 180 days. • The city reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any informalities.
