Description
The City of Long Beach is seeking vendors to furnish and deliver Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) parts and supplies as-needed to different locations throughout the City. The awarded contractor must have a storefront location within 15 miles from the Long Beach area for day-of purchases, pick-up, and emergency needs. The contract will be for a period of two years with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. The total contract term will not exceed five years. Key responsibilities include delivering products within 24 hours of receipt of a verbal or electronic order, providing a warranty for all parts and work done, and complying with various federal and state regulations.
• Deliveries shall be made within 24 hours after receipt of verbal or electronic order from the City.
• The City reserves the right to determine award based on delivery time quoted.
• Deliveries shall be made within two (2) to five (5) working days after receipt of order.
• For infrequent special order parts and accessories, notification of estimated time of arrival must be given to City at the time the order is submitted.
• Back ordered stock parts must be delivered within five (5) working days after date of receipt of initial order unless other arrangements are made.
• Product shall be delivered between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Delivery locations and City contacts will be specified in each purchase order.
• All deliveries shall be made FOB (free on board) to destinations specified by the City.
