MAYNARD PUMP STATION AND DENNY BROOK PUMP STATION UPGRADES

The Town of Westborough is seeking bids for the Maynard Pump Station and Denny Brook Pump Station Upgrades project. The project includes pump and channel grinder replacement, wet well access modifications and improvements, generator replacement, window replacement, installation of new bathroom(s), and associated electrical and instrumentation rehabilitation. The work must be substantially complete within 500 days from the commencement of Contract Time and completed and ready for final payment 550 days from the commencement of Contract Time. The bid security must be in the form of a certified check, bid bond, cash, or treasurer's or cashier's check, payable to the Owner, in the amount of five (5) percent of the value of the Bid. • The project requires the replacement of pumps and channel grinders, as well as modifications to the wet well access. • The project also includes the installation of new bathrooms and associated electrical and instrumentation rehabilitation. • The contractor must be DCAMM certified for pumping stations, and sub-contractors must be DCAMM certified for their respective class of work. • The bid must include a bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid price. • The town reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the town.
