Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to award a sole source contract for Metasys Building Automation System (BAS) upgrades, subscription, and preventative maintenance services at the University Drive campus of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System in Pittsburgh, PA. The contract will include upgrades to the existing BAS, software subscriptions and updates, preventative maintenance and inspection services, and training. The contractor will be required to perform services on the Metasys server, software, and all related components. The contract is expected to be a firm-fixed-price contract for one year, with four additional one-year option periods.
* The contractor will provide upgrades to the existing BAS, including new UI graphics, engine upgrades, and workstation replacements.
* The contractor will provide software subscriptions and updates for the Metasys BAS.
* The contractor will perform preventative maintenance and inspection services, including testing and calibration of all Metasys BAS components.
* The contractor will provide training to VA personnel on the Metasys system.
* The contractor will be required to respond to emergency and after-hours service requests within 4 hours.
