Hattiesburg Campus Student Housing Study/Student Housing Needs Assessment

The University of Southern Mississippi is seeking a consultant to conduct a student housing study and needs assessment for the Hattiesburg campus. The study will examine the on-campus inventory and off-campus housing market, and provide recommendations for future housing development. The scope of work includes project initiation, competitive context analysis, student focus groups, off-campus market analysis, survey implementation and analysis, and recommendations and socialization. The project is expected to be completed in several phases, with multiple campus visits required. • The consultant will conduct administrator interviews and focus groups with students to understand the current housing situation and identify areas for improvement. • The consultant will analyze the off-campus housing market and provide recommendations for future development. • The consultant will develop a survey to gather data on student housing preferences and needs. • The consultant will provide a final report and presentation to the university, outlining the findings and recommendations of the study.
