Virginia Aquarium Design Services

The City of Virginia Beach is seeking qualified individuals or firms to deliver professional design services for the Virginia Aquarium. The scope includes conceptual, schematic, and detailed design work, coordination with engineering disciplines, and preparation of construction documents. This RFP is open to firms with experience in public facility design, particularly aquatic or educational venues. • Provide full architectural and design services for the aquarium project, from concept through construction documents. • Must demonstrate prior experience designing similar public or marine facilities. • Deliver design deliverables on a schedule aligned with the city’s project timeline, culminating before the bid closing date of June 30 2026.
