Description
The Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries seeks a sole‑source vendor to provide the Illumina NextSeq 1000 Silver Support Maintenance Plan for the Thompson Bishop Sparks laboratory. The contract covers parts, labor, travel, reagent replacement on hardware failure, remote technical support, preventative maintenance, software/hardware updates, and on‑site response within two business days. The service period runs from 25 April 2026 through 30 September 2027 (approximately 17 months) for one sequencing system.
• Provide comprehensive maintenance, parts, and reagent replacement for a high‑throughput Illumina NextSeq 1000 system.
• Include 18‑hour daily remote support (8 am Singapore Time to 5 pm Pacific Time) and on‑site visits with travel costs covered.
• Deliver one preventative maintenance visit per year by a certified specialist and ensure software/hardware updates and application support throughout the contract term.
