Description
The Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) is seeking information from contractors capable of providing fresh prepared foods, including sandwiches, salads, wraps, desserts, and microwavable food items, for resale in ship stores. The contractor will be required to deliver items within 24 hours of production and maintain all health codes and standards of sanitation and safety. The contract will be a single-award indefinite quantity for a five-year ordering period.
Some key requirements include:
• Providing fresh prepared foods that meet the requirements of the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) Ships Store Program
• Delivering items within 24 hours of production
• Maintaining all health codes and standards of sanitation and safety
• Achieving a 90% fill rate for each individual order
• Submitting quarterly usage reports
• Complying with the limitations on subcontracting as outlined in 13 CFR § 125.6
