Description
The US Air Force is seeking information from potential contractors to maintain 95 existing boilers and water heaters located in 72 facilities across Minot AFB, ND. The contractor will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of boilers and water heaters, as well as maintaining a logbook for each boiler and providing monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual scheduled maintenance. The contractor must also ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and requirements regarding environmental protection.
Some key aspects of the job include:
• Performing labor for non-warranty repair on the gas valve train including the fuel gas piping inside the mechanical room
• Providing monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual scheduled maintenance for boilers and water heaters
• Maintaining a logbook for each boiler to be kept in the mechanical rooms and available for inspections
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and requirements regarding environmental protection
• Providing a quote to affect repairs for any situations listed in the contract, if requested by the Government
