USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47) BALLAST TANKS REPAIR AND PRESERVE

The US Navy is planning to issue a competitive solicitation for the repair and preservation of the USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47) ballast tanks and other components. The work will be performed at the Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) in Japan, and the planned period of performance is from 10/12/2026 to 07/31/2027. To be eligible for award, offerors must demonstrate their authorization to perform the required work within Japan at the time of proposal submission. • The solicitation is restricted to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders located in Japan. • The procurement is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan. • Offerors must provide necessary documentation to verify their status and compliance with Japanese laws and regulations.
