The VA New Jersey Health Care System (VANJHCS) requires remediation of localized visible mold growth in the Telecom Room of Building 10 at the Lyons Campus. The objective of this Work Plan is to remove visible mold growth by non-destructive cleaning methods, restore affected surfaces to a visibly clean condition, and verify the effectiveness of the remediation through visual inspection and post-remediation air sampling. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, localized barriers, cleaning supplies, personal protective equipment, transportation, and documentation necessary to complete the work. Key tasks include pre-work coordination, isolation of affected work areas, controlled wet wiping and HEPA vacuuming, application of a mold-inhibiting primer, and post-remediation air sampling.

• Isolation of affected work areas and operation of HEPA-filtered air scrubbers
• Controlled wet wiping and HEPA vacuuming of visibly affected wall surfaces
• Application of a mold-inhibiting primer to designated cleaned and dry wall surfaces
• Post-remediation air sampling to verify the effectiveness of the remediation
