CEDAR CREEK AREA WATER SYSTEM DESIGN RFQ

The Cumberland County is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide professional design services for the development and construction of a public water system within the Cedar Creek Area. The scope of services includes assistance with applications to Federal and/or State agencies for funding, public outreach, hydraulic modeling, water treatability studies, negotiation of water purchase agreements, design, permitting, bidding, assistance with negotiating construction contracts, construction contract administration, construction observation, and project administration. The initial project will focus on developing a water system to address groundwater contamination in the Cedar Creek area. The selected firm should have at least 5 years of experience in water system design and must comply with various federal and state regulations. Some key aspects of the project include: • Funding experience with SRF, USDA-RD, FEMA, and other applicable funding agencies • Environmental Assessments • Water treatment • Water storage • Water quality • Water demand • Water transmission • Hydraulic modeling • Permitting, design, bidding, and construction administration and construction inspection of water supply projects
