Description
The City of Asheville is seeking a qualified SCADA integration firm with North Carolina‑licensed electrical engineers to replace and integrate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) at three municipal water‑treatment plants. The scope includes evaluation of existing systems, design of new hardware and software, supply and programming of Modicon‑compatible PLCs, integration with the existing iFIX 5.8 SCADA platform, and full field installation, wiring, permitting, and documentation. The firm must maintain a service facility within 120 mi of Asheville and be able to respond to on‑site issues within 12 hours. Submissions consist of a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) limited to 30 pages (front‑only) plus required cover material, due May 20, 2026.
