The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is seeking bids for the Public Health Lab Perimeter Security Upgrades project. The project involves creating a comprehensive and modern perimeter defense system, including physical barriers, access control measures, and advanced surveillance systems. The project elements include a new perimeter barrier, illumination and security structures, a new site entry configuration, and security surveillance systems. The bid documents can be obtained electronically, and a printed copy can be provided upon deposit of $1,500. The bidder must include the form Identification of Minority Business Participation and either Affidavit A or Affidavit B with the bid proposal. • The project requires a single prime contract. • The bid must be accompanied by a cash deposit or certified check of 5% of the proposal. • A performance bond and payment bond will be required for 100% of the contract price. • Payment will be made based on 95% of monthly estimates and final payment upon completion and acceptance of work. • The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
