SDSU Metro Center Custodial Services

The State of South Dakota is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive custodial cleaning services for the South Dakota State University Metro Center, a 44,000‑sq‑ft academic/administrative building in Sioux Falls. The contractor must staff two custodial employees each weekday (one covering 9 am‑6 pm, another covering 5 pm‑10 pm) and perform daily, weekly, monthly, and occasional quarterly tasks in accordance with APPA Level 3 (Level 2 for clinical spaces) standards. Services are limited to Monday‑Friday, with emergency response capability for water leaks or other incidents occurring outside normal hours. The university supplies all cleaning equipment and consumables; the contractor provides additional PPE, handles any equipment damage caused by its staff, and invoices monthly. The contract is for an initial one‑year term with up to four one‑year renewal options.
