The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking vendors to perform outpatient remote prescription processing services for VHA VISN 10 VA medical centers in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. The contractor will provide virtual/remote pharmacists to review, process, and complete pending outpatient medication or supply orders. The contractor must maintain a continuous Personnel Roster of pharmacists and ensure all pharmacists have completed necessary training. The estimated number of possible prescriptions for this requirement is between 600,000 and 1,328,000 per year. • The contractor shall provide qualified pharmacists to accurately process pending outpatient prescription orders. • The contractor shall maintain a continuous Personnel Roster of pharmacists. • The contractor shall ensure all pharmacists have completed necessary training. • The contractor shall provide virtual/remote pharmacists to safely and accurately review, process, and complete pending outpatient medication or supply orders.
