RFQ - Commercial Contractor

The City of Sylvania is seeking a commercial contractor to oversee the 2026 renovations of the community center and fire department addition. The project includes sawcutting, removing, and replacing concrete piers, fabricating and installing a PEMB frame, forming and pouring concrete, installing a new metal screw roof, and other tasks. The contractor will be responsible for providing GA Engineered Stamped Drawings and ensuring that all work is completed according to the scope of work. Key aspects of the project include: • Sawcutting, removing, and replacing six 3’x3’x3’ concrete piers with rebar and anchor bolts • Fabricating and installing a PEMB 24’Lx38’Wx15’H frame • Forming, pouring, and finishing drive addition reinforced with wire, 6”, 5,000 PSI, air entrained concrete (33’x93’) • Installing a new 26 Ga. metal screw roof with Drip X for condensation • Blocking between columns and installing a matching brick façade on the outside The ideal contractor will have experience with similar projects and be able to complete the work within the required timeframe.
