North Lompa Multi-Use Path Extension Project – Material Testing Services

The City of Carson City is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide material testing services for the North Lompa Multi-Use Path Extension Project. The project involves constructing a multi-use path and widening a portion of the US 50 sidewalk. The selected firm will be responsible for providing Quality Assurance (QA) materials sampling and testing services to ensure that the quality of construction materials is in compliance with the project specifications. The key aspects of this opportunity include: • The project is federally funded through the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) • The estimated construction cost of the project is $1,520,000 • The selected firm will be required to have an American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) accredited laboratory and certified testing personnel • The firm will be responsible for providing necessary trucks, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), sampling, and field testing equipment • The City will provide in-house construction management and inspection services for this project
