Description
Knox County is seeking bids for Asbestos Monitoring Services. The selected vendor will be required to provide asbestos project monitoring, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) clearance sampling and analysis, phase contrast microscopy (PCM) clearance sampling and analysis, and bulk sample analysis by polarized light microscopy (PLM). The vendor must have at least 5 years of experience in asbestos air sampling and be able to respond to emergencies within 2 hours. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew.
• Asbestos project monitoring per shift
• TEM clearance sampling and analysis
• PCM clearance sampling and analysis
• Bulk sample analysis by PLM
• Ability to respond to emergencies within 2 hours
• At least 5 years of experience in asbestos air sampling
