Description
The Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Aviation is seeking a vendor to provide unmarked engineering data for a transfer unit. The data set contains technical drawings that are not marked with a distribution statement and an export control notice. The vendor will be required to handle the data in accordance with the provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25 and the Export Administration Act of 1979. The key responsibilities of the vendor will include:
• Handling export-controlled technical data
• Obtaining approval or license from the Department of State for items controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) or the Department of Commerce for items controlled by the Export Administration Regulation (EAR)
• Ensuring that the data is not disseminated to unauthorized parties
• Complying with the certification that establishes them as a "qualified U.S. contractor"
• Providing a copy of the notice with any partial or complete reproduction of the data that is provided to qualified U.S. Contractors
