Description
The Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force is seeking vendors/contractors for a project related to unmarked engineering data. The project involves the handling of technical data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act or the Export Administration Act of 1979. The contractor will be required to follow strict guidelines for controlling export-controlled technical data. Key aspects of the job include:
• Controlling export-controlled technical data
• Following provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25
• Obtaining approval or license from the Department of State or the Department of Commerce for items controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulation (EAR)
• Avoiding unauthorized dissemination of technical data
• Complying with regulations regarding patent infringement and liability
