Description
The Department of the Air Force is seeking unmarked engineering data for a specific project. The project involves the use of technical data that is controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulation (EAR). The contractor will be required to handle and disseminate this technical data in accordance with the provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25. The key responsibilities of the contractor will include:
• Handling and storing technical data in a secure manner
• Disseminating technical data only to authorized personnel
• Obtaining approval or license from the Department of State for items controlled by the ITAR or the Department of Commerce for items controlled by the EAR before exporting any technical data
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the export of technical data
The contractor will be required to sign a certification that establishes them as a "qualified U.S. contractor" and to comply with all terms and conditions of the contract.
