Description
The Department of the Air Force is seeking unmarked engineering data for door access. The data should be treated as being marked with a distribution statement and an export control notice. The contractor should be aware of the export laws and regulations, and any unauthorized dissemination of the information is prohibited. The contractor will be required to manufacture or use the technical data for a specific purpose, and a license for such use may be necessary.
• The contractor should have experience in handling export-controlled technical data.
• The contractor should have a good understanding of the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulation (EAR).
• The contractor should be able to provide a copy of the notice with any partial or complete reproduction of the data.
• The contractor should be aware of the penalties for unlawful export of items or information controlled under the ITAR or EAR.
