The Kenai Peninsula Borough is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive software platform for monitoring short‑term rentals (STR) across the entire borough, linking each rental to its associated sales‑tax account number and delivering searchable, exportable data to municipal staff. The contract will span three years (2027‑2029) with optional one‑year extensions, and the solution must include ongoing support, training, and a knowledge‑base Wiki. Evaluation will be based on experience, staff qualifications, resources, methodological approach, and cost.
• Develop and maintain a customizable STR database covering all platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, social media, etc.) with detailed property, owner, and guest information.
• Provide a 24/7 web‑based portal, GIS/parcel integration (optional ESRI ArcGIS read‑only), and periodic monitoring updates.
• Supply dedicated project/account manager, after‑hours support, and a Wiki‑style knowledge base for Borough staff.
• Deliver all required documentation (Tax‑Compliance Certification, Cost & Technical Proposals) and meet the revised submission deadline of 15 Oct 2026.
