Sources sought for USMA Cadet Full Dress Uniform Plume.

The U.S. Army is seeking sources for the procurement of plumes for the Cadet Full Dress Hat at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. The plumes should be 16 inches in length, with a support wire of 12-1/2 inches, and made of rooster coque feathers with varying lengths of 3-7 inches. The feathers should be iridescent black in color and have a weight of not less than 3 ounces or not more than six ounces. The plumes should be full and round with an average diameter of 3-4 inches and come with a durable, reusable storage tube. • The procurement will be on a small business set-aside basis if 2 or more qualified small businesses respond to the sources sought notice. • The U.S. Army is seeking information from small businesses regarding their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. • The anticipated NAICS code for this procurement is 315990, Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing. • The U.S. Army is not seeking quotes, bids, or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice.
