Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide Transplant Immunology Testing in support of transplant services for the VA Medical Center, Nashville Campus. The testing includes Histocompatibility testing, HLA typing, and antibody testing. The contractor must be located within a 50-mile radius of the TVHS campus and have the ability to perform all testing services on site. The contractor must also have experience with FDA-approved test methods and be able to provide test results in a timely manner.
Some key requirements of the contract include:
* Providing a full range of Histocompatibility testing
* Maintaining accreditation and certification
* Providing test results within the turnaround time listed in the contractor's laboratory reference test manual
* Having a system in place for emergency response and urgent testing
* Providing a written statement quarterly to the Chief, PLM&S regarding a summary of performance
* Maintaining records of all testing performed and making them available to the Contracting Officer's Representative upon request.
