The County is seeking an authorized health‑insurance carrier to deliver a Medicare Advantage (MA) PPO plan for its retired employees and their spouses. The contract is structured as an annual award with the possibility of four optional one‑year renewals, allowing a maximum five‑year relationship. Proposals must be submitted in both hard‑copy (two unbound copies) and digital (five USB flash‑drive copies) formats, with cost proposals sealed separately. Vendors must hold an A.M. Best rating of A‑7 or higher, be authorized to do business in Georgia, and embed a $7.08 per member per month commission payable to Aon. The award will be announced on the County’s website after the virtual proposal opening.
