Engineering Services for Texas Department of Agriculture-Colonia Fund Construction (TDA-CFC)

Nueces County is seeking a qualified engineer or engineering firm to provide engineering services for infrastructure improvements funded through the Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) Colonia Fund Construction (CFC) Program. The selected engineer will be responsible for planning, design, bidding, construction administration, inspection, and closeout of eligible public infrastructure improvements within designated colonia areas in Nueces County. The engineer must be licensed in the State of Texas and have experience working with public entities and/or counties of similar size, type, and complexity to Nueces County. The scope of work includes preparing preliminary and final design plans and specifications, conducting interim and final inspections, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and TxCDBG program requirements. • The project involves multiple phases, including planning, design, bidding, construction administration, inspection, and closeout. • The selected engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and TxCDBG program requirements. • The engineer must be licensed in the State of Texas and have experience working with public entities and/or counties of similar size, type, and complexity to Nueces County. • The scope of work includes preparing preliminary and final design plans and specifications, conducting interim and final inspections. • The project is funded through the Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) Colonia Fund Construction (CFC) Program.
