McIDAS Satellite Server Family and McIDAS-X MX License Renewal

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking to renew the McIDAS Satellite Server Family and McIDAS-X MX License. The McIDAS software and satellite data access are critical components for supporting various atmospheric science projects, programs, and field campaigns. The University of Wisconsin-Madison Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC) is the sole distributor of the McIDAS software and provides real-time data acquisition and processing of Satellite Server Family (SSF). The contract is estimated to last for one year, from 01/01/2026 to 12/31/2026. • The McIDAS software and satellite data access are used to support various NASA programs and projects, including CERES, DOE ARM, NOAA convective weather, FAA Icing, and NASA Airborne Flight Missions. • The University of Wisconsin-Madison Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC) is the sole distributor of the McIDAS software and provides real-time data acquisition and processing of Satellite Server Family (SSF). • The contract is for the acquisition of supplies or services determined to be reasonably available from only one source.
