The Nevada National Security Sites (NNSS) is seeking information and expressions of interest for fire suppression services, including inspection, testing, and maintenance (IT&M) services, architect/engineer (A/E) and fire protection engineering (FPE) design services, and design-build (D-B) modernization, modification, and construction work. The proposed scope includes work at three facilities: the North Las Vegas Facility (NLV), the Remote Sensing Lab at Nellis Air Force Base (RSL-N), and the NNSS. The objective of this RFI is to gauge industry interest, assess market capabilities, and solicit feedback on the proposed contracting structure.
Some key points to consider:
• The subcontract is expected to be for a five-year period, with a maximum contract ceiling of $5M.
• The work will involve IT&M services, A/E and FPE design services, and design-build work.
• The subcontractor will be required to utilize and manage their own qualified personnel to perform the scope of work.
• Security clearances are not anticipated to be required, but uncleared personnel may be restricted from accessing certain areas.
• The subcontractor will be responsible for design/IFC documents, fabrication and installation shop drawings, certified redlines, and final record drawings.
