The California Department of Education is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive preventative‑maintenance and as‑needed repair services for the large equipment fleet at the California School for the Deaf – Riverside. The contract covers a full year of service with two optional one‑year extensions. The contractor must perform scheduled preventive‑maintenance cycles on each piece of equipment, respond to repair requests, manage parts procurement within a $15,000 annual allowance, and submit detailed service reports. Access to the campus is controlled and a mandatory site‑inspection is required.
• Perform two full preventive‑maintenance cycles per equipment each year (oil changes, safety inspections, lubrication, etc.).
• Provide “as‑needed” repair services, billing hourly plus parts, with prior written estimates for non‑routine work.
• Submit post‑maintenance reports and monthly invoices; retain records for six years.
• Coordinate service hours (7 a.m.–3:30 p.m., M‑F, excluding CA holidays) and adhere to all safety, insurance, and DVBE requirements.
