2026 Water Main Upgrades

The Town of Lancaster, Massachusetts, is seeking bids for the 2026 Water Main Upgrades project. The project involves installing approximately 2,400 LF of 8-inch water main on Chace Hill Road, 200 LF of 6-inch water main and 670 LF of 8-inch water main on Seven Bridges Road, and other water main installations on various roads. The project also includes the replacement of existing culverts, relocation of a catch basin, and installation of a drain manhole. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment and Performance Bond each in the full amount of the Contract. • The project requires the installation of ductile iron pipe, hydrants, services, and appurtenances. • The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work shown on the Contract Drawings. • The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to accept any Bid deemed by them to be in the best interest of the Town of Lancaster. • Bidding Documents are available in electronic PDF format and hard copy format starting March 4, 2026.
