Career Service Provider

The City of Newark is seeking a Career Service Provider to manage and deliver workforce development services to residents. The provider will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive outreach and recruitment plan, managing the flow of customers through the tiers of services, and maintaining a close working relationship with One-Stop partners. The provider will also be required to achieve performance measures established by the United States Department of Labor, New Jersey Department of Labor, and the NWDB. Some of the key services to be provided include: • Universal Access to core career services • Comprehensive Intake and Assessment • Individual Employment Plans (IEPs) • Intensive Services • Barrier Mitigation and Supportive Services Referrals • Training Navigation • Work-based Learning preparation and placement • Job Development and Placement • Warm Handoffs and Co-Enrollment Coordination • Follow-Up and Job Retention Services The provider must demonstrate existing expertise, capability, and capacity to manage a ONE-STOP CAREER CENTER and deliver workforce development services.
