Parks Wayfinding & Signage

The City of Elgin is seeking a qualified consultant to develop a Wayfinding and Park Signage Plan for all city-owned parks, facilities, and trails. The plan should include a comprehensive inventory and analysis of existing signage, as well as the creation of branded signage to be implemented across all City parks. The selected firm will be responsible for providing professional services and expertise related to the planning, design, and engineering of park signage and wayfinding strategies. Key deliverables include an Existing Conditions Inventory & Analysis Report, a Wayfinding and Parks Signage Plan, and ready-to-build drawings for proposed signage typologies. • The project requires a thorough understanding of local conditions and regulations. • The consultant should have experience with similar projects and a strong team with relevant qualifications. • The City of Elgin reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities in the proposal process. • The selected firm will be required to provide certificates of insurance and to comply with the City's affirmative action and sexual harassment policies.
